updated to 18.10.1 driver and.. i installed vlc and it showed me greenscreen and bsod .. windows media player works just fine. i forgot to test vlc on official driver anyway.. moving on to the problem i found that in 3 games i cant seem to change the resolution from native 1080p its the only resolution in the settings..

That is actually not the Vega 8 driver but the driver for the RXVega. The driver does not officially support Vega 8 but it looks like it works. AMD put out a release stating that they are going to release Vega drivers quarterly rather than as quickly as other GPUs. The link to the driver is listed in the comments below the video.
